What to Expect with Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion treatments are ideal for men and women who want to minimize the look of blemishes on the skin's surface, such as uneven texture, dull skin tone, fine lines, clogged pores, sun damage, and scars. Although the process may feel unusual, it is not painful so you shouldn't need a local anesthetic or numbing cream. You can resume your regular routine after the procedure, but you will need to apply some form of sun protection since your skin will be sensitive.
